Beginn unserer “Halbwelt-Reise”. – Jetzt liegen sie hier: all meine Kleidungsstücke und Schuhe, die ich auf die Reise mitnehme. Eingerollt und eingepackt in die federleichten Packtaschen von Eagle Creek. So kann man unterwegs gut aus dem Koffer oder Rucksack leben. Jeweils eine Tasche für Sommer-Shirts, Shirts für kühleres Wetter, Hosen, Sandalen, robuste Schuhe, Tangokleidung und „das kleine Schwarze. Und drei Paar Tangoschuhe für vier Monate Milongas.
Dazu die Technik für den digitalen Reisenden und andere Kleinigkeiten. Insgesamt 13 kg mit Rucksack. Federleicht?
Ich packe die Taschen und kann es kaum glauben. Zweieinhalb Jahre lang haben wir die Reise um die halbe Welt geplant und jetzt fahren wir los. Endlich!

Beginning of our trip around “half the world”. – Here they are: all my clothes and shoes I’m going to take with me on our journey. Rolled up and wrapped up in the featherlight packing cubes of Eagle Creek. This way you can easily live out of a suitcase of backpack. One cube each for summer shirts, shirts for cooler weather, trousers, sandals, sturdy shoes, tango clothes and the little black dress. And three pairs of tango shoes for milongas covering four months.

I’m packing my bags and can hardly believe it. We’ve been planning our trip around half the word for two years and a half, and now we are taking off. Finally!
