Die Handtasche als Prestige-Objekt, getragen von einer als Räbin dargestellten indigenen Frau. Der Rabe, eines der heiligen Tiere der Ojibwe, verkörpert die Ehrlichkeit: Sei ehrlich zu dir selbst und anderen, akzeptiere dich so, wie du bist. Eine interessante Botschaft in Zusammenhang mit der Handtasche. Das Bild “Raven’s New Purse” wurde 2016 von Ojibwe-Künstler Jonathan Thunder gemalt. Es ist im Museum of Contemporary Native Arts in Santa Fe ausgestellt.

The raven, one of the Ojibway’s holy animals, represents honesty: Be honest with yourself and others, accept yourself the way you are. An interesting message connected with the purse.
