Auf dem Rodeo-Gelände in Tucson fällt uns eine besondere Fahne neben all den anderen auf: “Tret nicht auf mich, die Klapperschlange.” Schwer zu begreifen für Leute mit Schlangenphobie, aber Artenschutz scheint auch auf diese Giftschlange zuzutreffen.
Be Nice to Rattlesnakes.

We notice a particular flag among all the other ones on the rodeo ground of Tucson: “Don’t tread on me, the rattlesnake.” Hard to understand for people who’ve got a snake phobia, but apparently, protection of endangered species also goes for this poisenous snake.
